We all need nutritious substance to feed our bodies. It is a necessity for life and growth. We are grateful for the food items and are blessed that our neighbors can benefit from the shelf-stable items, dairy, meats and the fresh produce shared from our local farmers.
As the seasons change we are able, with your help, to provide clothes and shoes appropriate for the time of year.We are blessed with warm coats, winter wear, and shoes for the entire family during the cold months. During the warmer months we able to transition over to summer clothing. Babies and children grow fast and they are thankful that we are able to meet their needs.
We accept kitchen items, small appliance, bedding and bath. On many occasions we have had the opportunity to assist a family when they have lost their home to a fire, someone relocating quickly or a new family just starting out.
ARC witnesses many happy Children when they visit our toy area. We share their excitement when they shop for toys and books. Through your gifts and donations we are able to share their joy.
Ashe Really Cares is a recipient of a grant for $700 from the North Carolina Community Foundation. This grant was from Chip and Judy Anderson Charitable Fund Award. We appreciate receiving this grant which will be used to purchase food to help stock our shelves.
Thanks to all of the wonderful men and women who donate their time, money and resources to help make this ministry exist. Without the churches giving and the individuals who volunteer we could not help families within our community. Thanks to those who drive the ARC van, sort clothing, stock shelves and give of their self to be a servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is our goal to provide a ministry to those who are in need, with God's help, by supplying or assisting them with their physical and spiritual need. It is our goal to share the plan of salvation, giveaway Bibles and literature, also to be good listeners.
